1st H. 19th C. In partnerships: Rugg & Osborn (before 1804), Osborn & Hammond (c.1804), Butler & Osborne (c.1805-1807). Relocated his business to Homer, NY in 1820. Grandfather to William Osborn Stoddard, secretary to Lincoln. Mark with reversed "S" is likely earliest.
