The Flatware Patterns of John Polhamus - New York, NY John Polhamus (John Polhemus) was active c.1833 - 1874 and usually within a partnership. He was a notable designer, patented a number of flatware patterns and also produced flatware for Tiffany. His flatware dies later came into the possession of George Shiebler who continued to produce a number of his patterns.
