Lullaby

Post by silverly »

I bought a porringer today that is marked Lullaby Sterling and S259. Looking into the Lullaby trademark has made me suspicious of the way many people refer to items by Lullaby Sterling because it’s too varied. Listing what I think are discrepancies probably won’t accomplish much. Instead here is what I can find that appears to be true about the company: they were a branch of Gorham Company that made articles for babies, and their trademark was registered in 1960. If this is not correct, I’ll wait to hear better.

The porringer itself is relatively new and fairly typical, so I haven’t posted an image. If requested I will upload one.
