I have no clue where this was made but I'm thinking the UK

The shield marking on the right look to say "RV" with a asterisk (*) under it.

Any info would be greatly appreciated as I am new to this community! Thank you so much for reading

Hi, I believe it to be British pewter, not silver.
1/2 Imperial pint, above it pub/ owners name.
