Need help identifying these hallmarks

Post by KonradvonMarburg »

I bought this snuff box recently. Can anyone tell me what the hallmarks represent/mean/date, etc?

Are you sure it is 1903. The vendor said it was 1899?

Is there a table on the web where I can see what letters date it to 1903 vs 1899?

Your vendor must have been confused between Birmingham and London, where the date letter d is indeed 1899, albeit in a completely different punch shape.
