The Alvin Silver Co., silversmith, 20 W. 47th St., has prepared a number of leaflets, folders and booklets which are being distributed free of charge to the jewelry trade. One entitled “Setting the Table Correctly” is of special interest. It gives directions for the arrangement of silverware for the breakfast, formal luncheon, afternoon tea, formal dinner and the wedding breakfast. The booklet also carries fine half tone illustrations of Alvin silver. Other advertising literature shows half tone illustrations of gifts for men, including cigarette cases, match boxes and other articles sure to meet with approval.
