CHARLIE ALLEN
Toronto
It is quite astonishing to find how many of the descendants of names once famous in the jewellery district are to found in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and South Africa. I have come across just lately several who I remember in days past as associated with Birmingham. Their number has been added to during the past 12 to 18 months by Mr. "Charlie" Allen, once with Messrs. Payton, Pepper & Sons, and later with Messrs. Hyde & Son. He is located in Toronto, and, as I am told, representing several jewellery and plate houses.
