Is this Chester table ware

Post by CHUFF52 »

I have inherited this set of 6 teaspoons and I’m searching for any history.

Am I correct to deduce as follows:
BM= importer is probably Berthold Mueller?
Stirling silver
City of Chester,
The “curly B” date letter = 1727,
The F = these are imported objects
Can anyone confirm or provide further information??

Hi and welcome to the forum

You are almost correct - only the date is wrong (although the spelling of the silver standard is "sterling"). Chester dates feature 2 instances of this script B. Yours is 1902.
