for silver mark ?

hello. i got a silver .the mark is sterling and 935. sterling usually is from USA .and 935 is from latvia .but two marks together ??? please tell me about which country and period ,thanks

i am sorry , 935 is usually from estonia ,not latvia .

Hi,

Those marks; sterling and 935 are most likely put on by the maker/factory for the international silver & jewelry markets to indicate; sterling (minimum 925) and 935 to indicate higher silver fineness. However those marks are no hallmarks and give no guarantee for the actual overall minimum fineness, no assay office has been involved. It appears to be without maker’s mark and official hallmarks.
