M. Fred Hirsch, who has been a well-known figure in silver manufacturing circles for the past 30 years, is now president of the Hunt Silver Co. of which Carl Klein is treasurer. Mr. Hirsch is planning to put an expansion program into effect which will help supply the trade with fine hollowware at reasonable prices. Mr. Hirsch organized M. Fred Hirsch Co. of Newark, N. J., in 1918. The company expects to be in its new building this fall.

The M. Fred Hirsch Co., silversmiths of Jersey City, N. J., last month opened beautiful new salesrooms in suites 501-2, at 358 Fifth Ave. Those in charge will be Jules G. Bick, who has been with the firm for 20 years, who will continue to visit the South and the West, and Carl K. Klein, who has also been representing the firm in the New York area for the past ten years. Alan E. Fisher, Pacific Coast representative, will take the San Francisco office to Los Angeles about Jan. 1.

George J. Fischer, Clinton, Iowa, who for many years represented M. Fred Hirsch Co. Sheffield silver throughout the Middle West to and including the Pacific Coast, has resigned and will now devote his entire time to the management of his retail business, Brumer-Fischer Co. in Clinton.
