Unknown maker on a Norwegian enamel spoon

Post by Granmaa »

Here is a particularly nice enamelled teaspoon with white beads around the back edge of the bowl. I believe it is Norwegian c.1910, however, I can't find out who the maker is. The mark looks like a T or a hammer through an M.

Thankyou very much Mike. Do you know this maker's dates, or if not, what period would you place it in?

Roughly 1850 to 1925 as I recall but please don't quote me on that. Best wishes, Mike.

Hi
The workshop of Marius Hammer started in 1871 and ended in 1930. He died in 1927. The spoon is from ca. 1900-1905.
