Er Liebt Mich Bracelet Mark with photos!

Post by rrandazzo »

Hi again, I failed to include photos in my first post. sorry about that. Here it is again with photographs that I hope help in identification.

The bracelet is approximately 7 inches long. The body is composed of interlocking letters in what i believe to be an adaptation of the roman alphabet in use in Europe during the 14th-15th centuries. When transcribed into the modern alphabet the letters spell out the German phrase ER LIEBT MICH (english = He Loves Me). The clasp is composed of a Daisy studded with mined diamonds (stones are my forte).

The male end of the clasp has a small mark within a circle. It appeard to be the Alambic mark from the alchemy symbol section of this site, or an A on top of a V. Difficult to tell. The photos below are of the bracelet itself, the clasp with the mark, and an enhanced photo of the mark.

I have seen the mark in a few books and on the WEB, but it is always simply identified as meaning alchemy or test tube.

I would of course greatly appreciate any advise from anyone familir with the mark.

thanks

Rudy
