Can anyone put a name to this London (1911) maker? It is on a teapot cover and overstamps a mark begining with "A".
The mark itself is EL over L.

This is the mark of Ernest Lloyd Lawrence who is listed from 1897 till after 1916 at an address on South Moulton Street, London W. This sounds like a primarily retail establishment, so very likely his mark is overstriking that of the actual maker of the item.
