Does anyone recognize Russian Makers Mark on this 1861 cup?

I'm trying to get some background informaton on this cup. This is what I've found out so far....

the mark BC over 1861 is the assayer's mark of Victor Savinkov (BC is cyrillic for VS), Moskow, 1855-1888.

Maker's mark D.A.I. is unknown to Postnikova-Loseva book

Can anyone help to solve this mystery? The cup looks like a gift (Nov. 1861) with an engraved heart. The story behind it was supposed to be tied to the civil war. A gift for luck with one of the generals. Trying to validate the story or find true origin.

In Geoffrey Watts - Russian Silversmiths' Hallmarks this hallmark is identified as Pyetr Lobanov (1861 - 1883) working in Moscow.

It seems to have become a fairly common practice, here in the U.S., to somehow (no matter how farfetched) tie anything made between 1850 and 1870 to the Civil War. Without historical documentation, it is best to take such stories with a grain of salt.
