Hi hope you can help me out , have an unidentified mark on a pocket watch.
the watch has the mark 925 stamped so its definately sterling silver
however i cannot id the assay mark its like an upside down style shield with the letter c in it . there is another mark i need help on its a letter v in brackets have checked through loads of sites and come up dry anyone help me out please?
