Silver Danish bracelet, EM

Postby sarac » Sun Aug 14, 2005 12:08 pm

I am trying to figure out who made a bracelet I inherited from my Danish grandmother. It is a flat bracelet, from sometime before 1950, with square links joining the decorative segments (a kind of abstract beaded floral shape, finely detailed). The inside of the clasp is marked 123, EM, 830S (which I understand to be a common Danish silver mark).

Thank you for any help you can give me!

Hi,
With these marks, it can be Danish, but may also be Norwegian. For Danish marks, there is a large section on the site. See ->

I did look at the Danish section before posting. There is no E M mark that covers the right dates (and it's definitely not Magnussen).

Eiler & Marloe does fit within your date frame and does use an EM mark. However, since I can't see your mark, I could not tell if them or not.

Obviously I need to get a picture online somehow! I appreciate the responses.
