A very faint possibility might be Acme SIlver Plate Co (Boston Ma), however my version of Rainwater does not show a mark.

Hi,
There are two Acme's in my Rainwater (4th.Ed.), the Boston one that Waylander remarked on and the Acme Silver Company of Toronto, Canada, which later became part of International Silver Co., but I'm afraid the marks shown for both of them do not match,
Regards Trev.

thank you

I had thought of them too but the mark is really different
maybe they used this mark only for a limited time

I bought the tea set in England but the lady had some other Canadian silverware in her collection

I will keep on looking....................

bye Paola
