Please Take a Look at This

Hi All,

I recently noticed these very small designs underneath the trim of an old dish. Was so small I needed a magnifying glass to see it properly. Thought someone may be able to help shed some light.

Wish I could help, but have been unable to confirm the company that used that silverplate mark.

My guess is that it's an American silverplate mark used by the Hartford Sterling Company. Again, I'm not sure about this.

Thanks Patrick for your reply on my previous inquiry.

Someone pointed out to me that the:
third symbol is identical to the "the lion in profile" used with Britannia.
first symbol is identical to the "Sheffield Date Letter" of 1797.
second symbol is consistent with a possible "Maker Mark".

Is it possible at all that these are in fact early English?
