3 B's in triangle

birmingham 1892, I take it L-B is makers mark (any idea's) and what would the 3 B's in the triangle mean or stand for?

It is a ferrule from a tobacco pipe, BBB = Britain's Best Briar.
I believe LB is Louis Blum or something close to that, don't have any refs handy at the moment.

Just had a chance to check it, it is Louis Blumfeld. Firm was founded in 1847 and BBB stood for Blumfeld's Best Briars. About 1910, A. Frankau bought the firm and the BBB was changed to Britain's Best Briars.
