Hope someone can help me - I have a set of 6 silver spoons in a purple felt case, which has (or had before I STUPIDLY washed it) W E Ward Jewelers Sceanton Penna (I know, spelling's wrong but that's how it read). The makers' mark is a copyright symbol, then what looks like an Indian head & STERLING to the right of it. There's a very stylish 'D' on near the end of the handles. They're in great condition; look almost new, like they weren't used. Can anyone help? Hope I got the image thing working right. Thanks! Candi

Looks like International's 1810 pattern, introduced in 1930.

OK, thanks, but is International a good thing? I've been researching & will continue to do so, on what you suggested, but I'm pretty much a horse, rescue animal, piano & flute person. My flute is silver, does that count?! However, I'm thinking I'm going to be researching heavily into the antique silver stuff, since I have a collection. Again, thank you! Where can I get more info on International without spending hours of research? Candi

OK, OK, I get the ;0) now, Cheryl. Hey, I'm new at this, but once started on the path, Glasshoppa, you find the path easier to navigate. There's gonna be another one, really weird, tomorrow. It's a strange antique fork thingy with an attached retractable stand of some sort & we've never been able to figure out its use. Thanks for helping & I've become fascinated with this stuff! Candi

I LOVE dragonflies - they're my totem. Actually rescued one once, it was snowing & my cat brought him in! He was gonna die anyway, so I fed him(bologna) & gave him water for 2 weeks. Buzz has been in a jar with rose petals for 7 years ;-(
