Need help w/ a hallmark on a ladle...

I have had this for a while, the person i bought it from said it was sterling?...The small letters are A.S.CO. , Pat. 4-10-06...Any help w/ maker and pattern would be greatly appreciated....

That mark was used by the American Silver Company, Bristol, Connecticut (1901-1935). In 1935 the company was sold to the International Silver Company. International did not use the American trademark for very long.
The pattern is Moselle, introduced in 1906. It's a favorite of collectors.
If it's not marked sterling or .925 then it's probably silverplated.

It is a very collectable silverplate pattern.
