TJ-75, T=Taxco, J=?

Postby JEjackson » Thu Mar 01, 2007 12:24 am

I have a pair of 925 Mexico earrings with large onyx cabs marked TJ-75 (or 15?). If the T=Taxco, then the J-75 or 15 would represent the maker, right? Anyone know who this would be? There were so many artists in Taxco, isn't there a website with a complete list of them and their marks? Or at least their names and years of work?

J might be for Jalisco? Since it sounds like I'll never know for sure, that'll do just fine. Thank you. :)
