Help identifying hallmark on 925 silver chain (sword/dagger symbol)

Post by Robinson Kahl »

Subject: Help identifying 925 silver chain hallmark (sword/dagger symbol)
Hello everyone,
I found this silver chain in Germany and it is marked with “925” and next to it a symbol that looks like a small sword or dagger.
• Does anyone recognize this hallmark?
• Could it be a maker’s mark or an assay office control mark?
• The chain was found in Germany, but I am not sure if it was made there or imported.
Photos attached (close-ups of the 925 mark and the sword/dagger symbol).
Any help to identify the maker or origin would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, Dutch sword mark, used 1953-present. For information see https://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32028
The Dutch retailer's /responsibility mark too unclear for me to decipher

Peter.
