2 Silver spoons, marked with several hallmarks, 3 crowns, bird, LPH? IBCMvA, 3 and monogram.
Would be nice if somebody can help me to understand the period and who knows the maker? Thanks in advance!
It think this one is also Örebro although similar eagle town mark was also used in Arboga. The problem is that I couldn't find similar maker's mark with initials LPH in script. It could be an unknown mark used by Lars Petter Hackzell (1768-1771/72) who worked in Örebro but only a for a short period. His recorded marks are L.P.HACKZELL and LH both in capital letters but not in script. Based on the style of the spoons they could match with the period when Hackzell was working. It's not unusual that the year mark is omitted in smaller items. I think the other marks are just punches for the owners used instead of engraving.
The information for this and other of my replies comes from the book Svenskt silversmide, Guld- och silverstämplar 1520-1850. It's a reprint from 2000 by Nordiska museet of an older book with some additions and includes drawings of the hallmarks and short biographical information about the makers. It's in Swedish but probably understandable by using a translator app.
