A.M.O, A.M.D? Danish. Help Please!

Post by manonthespoon »

Danish, I believe. From a Boat that went from Demark to Portugal in 10.21.1950.
Not seeing a maker for AMO or AMD. Was wondering if the last character was an image/not a letter or something.

Thank you! I love this piece. Got it on vacation -- just looking for the maker.

Hi,

Please embed your images as very few members will click on such links.

https://postimages.org (choose 'Share', then copy the 'Hotlink for forums' code) is recommended. Do not use Photobucket or Dropbox.

Hi,

Your spoon is German, made by Adam Manns & Sohn of Dörnigheim.

Thank you so much! And thank you for writing all of those Macabre Stories of the Silver Trade. I've spent hours reading those...

Best,

Connor
