Odd ladle

Post by paulh »

This is a silver plated piece by Thomas Turner & Co, Sheffield. It is 5" long with straining holes to the rear of the bowl and a pouring lip to the front. Any ideas?

This versatile utensil combines the functionality of a soup ladle and a strainer. Not just a soup ladle, this utensil can also be used as a strainer for hot pot, stew, fried foods, chicken, and more. Its pointed spout enables precise soup pouring, giving you better control over the liquid portion.
