To celebrate the 200-year anniversary of Christofle, the Paris Musée des Arts Décoratifs has mounted the largest-ever exhibition dedicated to the firm. Over 1,000 objects are on display, including tableware, jewellery, paintings, drawings, posters, and some of the monumental pieces made for various universal exhibitions, dating from the 1830s until the present.
There is a technical section that shows the Christofle manufacturing processes.
There are vignettes featuring tableware made for the Orient Express, the Normandie, the Concorde, and tableware and centrepieces used at State dinners held at the Elysée Palace.
