Silver spoon, with hallmarks, maker?

Post by Vantlicht »

This silver spoon has a strange form. Where did they use it for? Also the Silversmith is unrecognizable for me, somebody can help me? Thanks in advance!

Silver vegetable spoon, spoon with a long handle (approximately 24 cm) and a wide teardrop-shaped bowl, the widest part of which is attached to the handle. Models from the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century often have a crooked stem.
Unclear, illegible maker's mark, and rubbed hallmarks. Clear year letter C for 1862.
