London 1784 - unknown silversmith LG or GS

These four spoons were made by different silversmiths in different years (they are shown with the oldest spoon on top and the youngest on the bottom), although two of them were made by the Batemans. The spoons vary slightly in size (21.5 - 22.5 cm) but have been part of the same collection, as they all bear the same initial, J. My question is who made the first spoon, which I date from 1784. Here are the hallmarks:

I'm not sure if the mark should be read as LG or GS. The other spoons have the following marks, which I show just for reference (I hope to have identified them correctly):

Peter and Ann Bateman, 1795:

Richard Crossley, 1796:

Peter, Ann, and William Bateman, 1804:

Jackson's, p. 221, has a similar mark for Geo. Smith, mark entered 1782. Someone else please confirm. Thanks, Kit.

Confirmation as requested: Maker is George Smith III whose last mark (on his own) was entered in 1782; his first mark was entered in 1774.
