Help with Identification of maker on a patch box

Hello all.
Can anyone assist here withthis antique patch box which I would guesstimate will be late 18th century.
Only marked with a makers mark to the inside base, may be IIR but please do not take that as a definate.
As ever any help is always appreciated.
It is in the Irish section here but again that is not something I know for sure.

::::: Given the pin-prick method of the swirl design, I am thinking provincial Denmark, and possibly do you have an "LR" with a worn out punch? ::::
::::: I keep seeing "LR" but with the item in hand that is always the best situation because you can loupe it with multiple angles. :::::

::::: I've noticed unique pin-prick designs on Canadian patch boxes circa 1800 also, but I can't find a definitive hallmark match as of yet. :::::

::::: Found a piece of Portuguese silver with a hallmark that doesn't quite match your hallmark, but at least it is an [IIR] hallmark (really an unusual 3-letter combination) for Joaquim José Rodrigues (1792-1826) but why there would not be additional Portuguese hallmarks I do not know. ::::::
::::: Possibly another dead-end, but at least it is an [IIR] hallmark :::::
