Mysterious Salt Peper Mustard Set of Unknown origins

Post by tux »

Good Day,
Today I come with (what I think) is a silver Salt, Peper, Mustard Set
Its pretty crooked and Im thinking about having it restored to look proper again.
In order to do so I would like to know a bit more, what I know isnt much but is as follow:
16,5 CM wide
8,8 CM across bottom feet
15,5 CM High
247,4 grams
Only 1 mark found: 13 OK

I think the piece is well crafted and very pretty to the eye, insides are guilded (as should), spoon is missing
Help is much appreciated, thanks!

(sorry if images appear sideways, all have been uploaded correctly, but the website likes to make up his own mind)

Germany, Schwabeisch Gmuend, the DK mark is Dominicus Kött.
Best regards!

That was fast, thank you very much.
Does the 13 stand for 13 Loth = 812 finest?
And do you know when Dominicus Kött worked?
Thanks

Hello, Kott was founded in 1818 and became part of Wilhelm Binder in 1889. MUCH of the Kott archive survived and came up for auction in 2000. Wish I knew where it is now. Regards, Bahner
