Sheffield Silver Over Copper Mark - looking for date

Hello, I recently acquired this lovely engraved footed plate with a grape motif.

I am looking for information regarding the age of this piece, and location of manufacture. It is heavy - about 2lbs and 10" diameter. Engraved with a letter 'G' (I believe) in the center and shows wear with copper showing through. The mark is mostly worn off.. though it appears to include a star, dog and a heart.
