Hy Theoderich, nope, any tremolierstich sign on it, just those I already uploaded. What do you think about them and the inscription? What language is that??

I'm afraid I can't give an answer here for now. Without hallmarks it is difficult to assign the bowl to a city. The initials MS are also not so rare as to significantly reduce the possibilities. It is also possible that the shell was not made in Germany. At least you can rule out the usual suspects (Augsburg, Nuremberg).

::::: Are you leaning towards authentic 17th century object from somewhere in Europe (possibly Germany but not necessarily Germany). ::::::
::::: Any guess as to what the letters are meant to symbolize/signify?

Dear Aguest I still trust in Theoderich to recognize the monogram and and thus also be able to date the artifact
