Hy everyone, can someone help me to recognize the silversmisth of this tastevin?
The poincon de titre is for Paris 1819/1838 but I can't find the silversmith.

Many thanks,

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Are there no other marks?

Sixte-Simon Rion

Born: 22 Oct 1780, St. Germain-sur-Ecole, Seine-et-Marne, son of Jean Rene Rion & Marie Amie Durel
Married: 2 Sep 1807, Paris, 9th arr., to Adelaide Josephine Bourg (b. Paris, 16 May 1788), d.o. Antoine Bourg & Ursule Madeleine Cordonnier
Died: 14 May 1848, Paris, 9th arr.

Four similar marks ("SSR" with a heraldic biscione - upside down in your images) registered on 20 Oct 1807, 20 Apr 1824, 17 Jul 1830, 29 May 1832, and 11 Feb 1835. No cancellation date for the last mark, but presumably it was around 1841 when he was succeeded by his son.

Successor to Firmin-Chrysostome Caüet, working 1801-1807, 27 rue de Harlay
Succeeded by his son Eugene-François Rion, working 1841-1862, 8 cour de Harlay

Addresses:
1807-1824: 27 rue de Harlay
1824-1835: 2 rue du Pont-de-Lodi, magasin 10 Place Dauphine
1835-1841: 8 cour de Harlay

Ref: Arminjon I:03234 (with biographical data from primary sources)

Hope this helps!
