Looking For Help Identifying An Unusual Mark

Post by silverly »

This mark is on a nice little, probably hand hammered, vase, and I’m also finding it on jewelry. Help with identification will be very much appreciated.

Terrific as always. Thank you.

The jewelry that I thought was marked the same as my vase turned not to be so. I’ve only seen one article of holloware that has a mark like my piece.

And here’s an image of the mark on a third piece that I’ve come across that is the same as mine (used with permission):

Although, it does look like a somewhat chattered mark hopefully more can be learned from it.

The writing at the top could be something like
Εργ. χειρός
Handmade
The second, Solon, the trademark
But it's better to wait for someone else's opinion,I only have vague memories of ancient Greek.

I don't know enough to make the comparison, but here is at least one example of Solon in Greek characters and it look pretty close to me: Σόλων
Thank you Amena.
