Sylver basket

Post by Raffaello »

On this silver basket I found three hallmarks that I don't know. The crescent makes me think of Germany, but I'm not sure. Also the letters SR should be the initials of the silversmith. Thanks to all those who can help me identify both the hallmark and the silversmith.

Hi Oel,
Many thanks for your tip, indeed a crown has been inserted into the basket punch above the letters SR which I hadn't noticed. On the basket there is also the French hallmark (charançon, Tardy/argent 1995, page 207). Greetings
