German Ladle ?

Post by amena »

Hello everyone
I assume this ladle is 19th century German.

Does anyone know ERNST?
Is the V in the square a date letter?
Is the worn mark on the right the city mark?
Thanks for attention

Johann Friedrich ERNST, Königsberg in Ostpreußen working first half of 19th century ( year letter V = 1807 or most probably 1838), last mark is the city mark of Königsberg.

Thanks for sharing your expertise with me.
Now that you pointed it out, I found the mark on Tardy and on Theo's site.
