I • T Mark Coffee Spoons

The marks on these spoons look like they could be for John Tayleur (Grimwade London Goldsmith mark No. 1707). The spoons have the maker's or sponsor's mark and a lion passant only. They are about 10.5cm long. Confirmation or new direction sought. Thank you in advance. Image

Hi Silverly,

The Lion passant appears to be from the 1739 - 1755 timeline, too early for John Tayleur.

For me, James Tookey, a known maker of spoons, is a more likely candidate.
