Your Gorham demitasse size souvenir spoon shows General Israel Putnam, leader of the Connecticut Militia during the Revolutionary War. The wolf at the top relates to a legend about his slaying of the last wolf in Connecticut. The Design Patent #21058 was issued Sept. 22, 1891, assigned to jeweler/retailer George E. Shaw of Putnam, CT.
