help with marks on clasp of french amboyna box.

Would like help re marks on clasp,marks very small ,I have done the best I can with images ,looks like one may be a makers mark,have made drawing of marks may help.

14 K gold with ``Fuchskopf`` (fox head) mark, Vienna assay office.
Austria-Hungary 1872 to 1922.

A bit of a surprise felt French being amboyna (thuya) timber.

Maker`s mark is impossible to decipher.

I feel makers mark is like my drawing ,an O and flower type petal head.
I would not think there would be many makers with the letter O.

I have had another look at mark in daylight.
Looks letters K.C or H.C ,not petal as thought before.

Seems very difficult finding gold makers marks online.

Does anyone have any books with this info. (as I have said before ,it is amazing how many different books we need for research)

I have noticed on comments,some people also feel it is a French mark (18ct)

I have taken some better images of makers mark,not sure if anyone can recognize and make it out? Looks like may be a H.C to me.
