I’ve searched quite a bit, but cannot find the exact same marks as on the silver plate that I have. Here a VERY similar, shield shape on the ‘M’, the same shield shape on the center (?) symbol same as the center fleur-de-lis that I have, shield shape the same as the right side “W over C “as the “Crown over C”.
Could it be that when Meneses merged or partnered with Christofle and Maltilde Espunes, that the mark changed just slightly to show the new product? Mine show the ‘Silver on Copper’ stamp.
Any thought or direction would be greatly appreciated!
