An Italian sugar bowl, only partly identified

Postby Andreadb » Tue Jan 11, 2022 8:35 am

Hello!
This sugar bowl has the hallmark indicating it is from the Kingdom of Sardinia (1824 to 1872), the "dolphin" mark that identifies its origin in the town of Genoa, but there is a third hallmark that I could not identify: it looks like a water droplet (or a tear...), see second image. Can somebody help on this one?
Thank you!
Andrea

Thank you! Yes....I can see that now.
You really have a sharp eye, or experience...or probably both.
