Silver plated pierced bowl

Postby Avds » Sat Jan 08, 2022 5:26 am

Hey guys I have a pierced bowl (not sure) which i think is silver plated, and from what I can make from the marks on the bottom is from an s&co (Sturridge and co).
Originally I thought the top left icon was some sort of anchor but then when I zoomed in with my camera it looks like a dragon, or could it just be an E? It would make sense as then the initials would read EP?
I would be grateful for any help thanks.

Hi,
EPNS in Gothic stands for electro plated nickel silver.
Is it C & Co, or G& Co or S &Co ?

Regards

Me too, I meant to say that, I had looked it up last night.
Did they do the silver plate pieces along with their solid silver? Or once registered only do solid silver?
I would be interested to know how old it is.

Thanks for you help.
