If anyone can please help me find out what essay city is "Б" as it is shown on the left to the soviet hallmark.



Also if anyone identify the Maker's Hallmark : Б Ю 7 as I see it and as shown on ring.

БЮ7 stands for бакинский ювелирный (Baku jewelry) Baku assay office now Azerbaijan and year code for 1967.
Gold 14 K (583).

I was just wondering how you tell the year 1967 as only the digit "7" is on the maker's code? Couldnt it be 57/77/87?

Until 1958 the mark was worker`s head and hammer.
Yours is star with date number after the maker (1968).
1978 was number 8 in front of maker.
1988 was dot and number in front of maker (.8)
1998 colon and number in front of maker (: 8)
