Many EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND place settings

I recently acquired 6 different patterned place settings of silverplate simply marked "EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND". I cannot find anything about these pieces. Anyone have any information on these?

Sorry for all the photos -- I wasn't sure if I should do a separate post on each pattern.
