Found this at the thrift store today.

Any experts on here know any information of this?

It looks like this one has extra/different dates than the other ones on google images. I found it under Calcutta Light Horse Pin Dish

Also, I could not find any markers mark that are KPD

Hi,
It is the badge of the Calcutta Light Horse, an auxiliary unit within the British Indian Army Cavalry Reserve.
'Defense not Defiance' on a scroll.
Disbanded in 1947 (India independence).
