Unknown Mark on match safe Sheffield IMPORT

I am trying to identify the manufacture for the attached images. The Mark in question is either DC or DG in a Norman shield.

The piece has a Sheffield "omega" import mark. Lower case italic "v" in a square.

The match safe design itself is typical of American patterns from 1900-1920.
