Tea spoon maker's mark mystery

A cousin gave me a set of 12 tea spoons that came in a case with sugar cube tongs. In searching this forum I learned the EP indicates the spoons are electroplated silver. I have not been able to identify the maker. I was thinking that the initials "J S * S" meant J S and Son but that has not been helpful either. I would appreciate any thoughts viewers might have on the maker. Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply. This inquiry was my first post. Very much appreciated. These spoons look good with the fancy tea cups.
