Help with makers' marks on two spoons

I am unable to ID the Makers' Marks on these two spoons. Also could use help with the monarch and date marks.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The hallmark is London 1808/09 and EL is Edward Lees. The monarch in the duty mark is George III. The London crowned leopard's head has been omitted from the hallmark; this was a common occurrence at the time but we can be sure it is a London mark from the shapes and styles of the marks. In addition this version of Edward Lees's mark is very distinctive with the cut-off corner on the top right.

Thanks so much Phil. The other spoon is under the Edward Lees spoon. The maker's mark is "WW" and has a George, Lion and "a". Also what was the purpose of the indentation holes?
