Inkwell with silver covers

The not very common designation of German silver 875 is due to the fact that it was produced for the Russian market?

Hi,
I see no controversy with this excellent inkwell.

Gebrüder Deyhle, Silberwarenfabrik,Schwäbisch Gmünd (Württ).
There was a substantial international trade at the time. For example, Bohemian glass exported from Austria-Hungary overseas.
